Sara turns 3!!

Everyone meet the adorable Miss Sara! She recently turned 3, and I had the honor of shooting her birthday party with all of her friends and family! It was a gorgeous day for a party at the park, and what party would be complete without a clown, face painting, make your own cupcakes, art projects and a pinata! It was a great party, with lots of love for a precious little girl! Happy Birthday Sara! Thanks for letting me part of your day, and I hope you enjoy the sneak peeks!

The Proposal-Derrick and Kristi Engagement

On Friday, I was asked to be a part of a very special, and memorable occassion! Ive been friends with Derrick for 7 years and Kristi for 3, so when he called and told me that he was proposing, I just knew that I had to be there!! I wouldn't have missed it for the world! Derrick and Kristi met on March 18, 2008, while working on the same rodeo committee.  They were both having drinks at the Committeeman's Club, and well..the rest was history! So, Derrick decided to go back where it all started, and propose to Kristi exactly where he met her! My job? To hide behind a pole/sign, and capture the whole thing on camera without Kristi even knowing I was there! There were a few bumps in the plan, but Kristi was definitely surprised and ECSTATIC when Derrick got down on one knee!!

These photos did not turn out as great as I hoped for a few reasons- in my hurry and excitement I probably chose the wrong lens, AND I was shaking and crying myself the whole time!! But, hopefully I caught the emotion of the occassion!

Congrats to you both! I am SOOOOO excited for you, and can't wait for all the celebrating that lies ahead.  I knew long ago that this day would come, and Im so happy that you two found each other. Wishing you nothing but happiness! Thanks again for letting me apart of it all! Love you guys!

Hillarie-Maternity

Everyone meet Hillarie! Her baby is due in May, and she decided to SURPRISE her husband for their 5 year wedding anniversary with some pictures of her and the baby bump! So on Friday we headed over to Hermann Park for a little fun!  You can definitely see her personality in some of these photos and I love it.  We had a great time doing this shoot, despite the obstacles we had getting there thanks to rodeo traffic!! Thanks Hillarie, and many congrats to you and Clay- on your 5 year anniversary and your bundle of joy that is on the way!!! Enjoy!

Webb Family

Everyone meet the Webb family!  I met up with them on Sunday for a fun shoot downtown, and we had such a great time! Ryder just turned 6 months recently, and he is just so cute! He was definitely a trooper, and never got fussy, or put up a fight when we used the props his mom brought a long. Well, except for the cowboy hat- he didnt care for it much, but it sure made for some adorable photos.  A great family full of love, and lots of fun, it was definitely a pleasure doing this shoot.  Thank you guys again, and I hope to see you again soon. You have a beautiful family! I had a hard time deciding which ones to blog! Enjoy!
