Matthew Turns 2!!!!

So, I met Matthew when he was just 3 months old, when we moved in across the streeet! It has been so much fun watching him grow, and time sure does fly, because he is about to turn 2! (His birthday is the day before mine, which makes him even cooler!).  I know a lot of cute kids these days, and he is definitely no exception.  His parents agreed to let me do a cake smash session with him, and since I had a feeling we were going to need a water hose, we decided not to venture much farther than the backyard.  At first he wanted NOTHING to do with the cake, and just wanted to play with the balloons. But, it did not take him long! And before we knew it,  he was sticking his whole head in the cake!! He had us laughing the whole time. Such a cutie! Happy Birthday Matthew!!! (And thanks Melissa and Daniel for letting me give him all that sugar and make such a mess!). Enjoy!

Photography at Night- Downtown with Kathy Adams Clark

Well, two things are guaranteed in July.  Its going to be hot and humid, and it's not going to get dark until after 8 at night. But, I had been dying to take this night time photography class with Kathy, so I signed up anyway!  We started at Wortham Center, and made our way around several spots downtown.  It was a lot of fun, and I learned SO much as I always do in her classes (and I even burned a ton of calories in the process!). Here are just a few of the shots I got!

Cobray Turns 1!

Everyone meet Cobray (and her handsome brother Colt)! Cobray's uncle decided that she would get enough toys for her birthday, and bought her a photo shoot instead! I knew this shoot was going to be a blast when mom contacted me and said she had purple butterfly wings and matching tutu for Cobray to wear! So, last week we headed down to Hermann Park to shoot some pictures in celebration of Cobray turning 1! She is such a cutie, and was so much fun, and full of energy! Her brother Colt got to play during most of the shoot, but we even got him to join in for a few shots.  He was quite the trooper and they both have the most beautiful eyes you will ever see!! Also, a very special thanks to Cobray and Colt's parents for being so patient with me during the shoot! Happy birthday Cobray! Enjoy!
