Isabella Turns 1! {Hermann Park}

I seriously don't know where the time goes. It seemed as though I had just done Lisa and Jesse's fabulous maternity session, and they were contacting me for 1 year photos! How can it be! Well, Isabella is turning 1 in a coupel of weeks, and so we headed back to Hermann Park where we did some of their maternity photos. She is sooooooo cute and full of personality. Im pretty sure that mom and dad burned more calories during that session than they would have in an hour at the gym. But it was so worth it to get these precious smiles. And she even brought along Mickey, Elmo, and her favorite bunny. My heart just melts every time I look at these. Happy birthday Isabella!

Khan Family {Old Town Spring}

Everyone meet the beautiful Khan family! Taking pictures of one two year old can sometimes be a challenge. But taking pictures of 2 year old twins? Well, let's just say there was a little bit of cookie bribery going on. :) But how precious are they??

Marcum-Morehead Wedding {The Windemere- Seabrook,TX}

Where do I even begin with this one. Greg and my hubby became really good friends in college. Greg was a groomsman in our wedding, and he and Misti have helped me at the Bridal Extravaganza numerous times. I was so excited when they got engaged and it was a huge honor to be able to photograph their wedding. My hubby was a groomsman, and I got to capture a very important day, for two great friends. It was an absolutely gorgeous day at a gorgeous venue. Misti put so much time, effort, and thought into all the details. And the reception- well- you can see from the photos how much fun was had there! I even got to put my camera down and dance a little and do the Aggie War Hymn, thanks to my awesome second shooter! Congrats again you two! You deserve nothing but love and happiness- Heres to your happily ever after! Love you guys!

Favorite Moments:
-Red converse for all the bridesmaids and the BRIDE. Loved the pop of color!
-The brides birdcage veil. Drool. It was black, and looked amazing with her dress!
-The groomscake was Lego themed, and had a bride and groom lego person on it. So cute!
-The bow ties. All I will say is that there were a lot of pictures captured by my second shooter of bow tie tutorials, and the guys spending a lot of time trying to figure them out. :)
-The first dance. Ahhh. Got me all teary eyed.
-The reception venue overlooked the water, and there were some gorgeous skies.
-And as always the Aggie War Hymn, but I got to participate! WHOOP!
-Getting to dance with my hubby :)
-Getting to be a part of a wedding for two great friends!

Servello-Wiese Wedding {Byron Colby Barn-Chicago, Illinois}

I love Chicago. Would probably live there someday if given the chance, and I didnt think my mother would kill me. :) So when I got to shoot Veronica and Matt's engagement photos in Chicago, and then return to shoot their wedding I was in heaven! The wedding was Memorial Day weekend, but to everyones surprise, a cold front came through. It was COLD. And rainy- it even started raining at the end of the outdoor ceremony. And the poor bridesmaids had short dresses. But, you would never know any of that by looking at the smiles on these two faces. So much love, and such a beautiful wedding! Vero- I am SO very happy for you! Thank you guys so much for letting me share in your day.

An extra special thank you to Marcin, my second shooter for the day. You rocked and I see great things ahead for you!

Favorite Moments:
-My second shooter was a friend of my cousins who goes to Loyola University in Chicago. The brides family immediately said that he looked like Alec Baldwin. They even had him pose for pictures. Fun times!
- During the ceremony the bride and groom put a bottle of wine with letters to each other in a locked box, that they will open and read on their 5 year anniversary. So sweet and unique!
-The cake looked like a castle and said Happily Ever After. Cool enough to me, but there was a custom topper that was a knight on a horse with Vero riding behind him!
-The maid of honor gave the couple each an engraved compass to always be able to find each other. :)
-The reception was in an old barn that has been turned into a wedding venue!
-Chicago. Cool enough all by itself.
