Easter 2011

Easter this year was full of laughter, friends, family, and of course the traditional confetti eggs!!! My in-laws had never taken part in this tradition, so it was quite entertaining, and lots of fun! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Camryn, Akin, and Jillian!!

Jillian just turned 1, so her mom wanted to get some pictures of her, along with her big brother and sister!  So, on Good Friday we headed down to Hermann Park! We had so much fun doing this shoot- though the wind was definitely not our friend, and at one point, it even carried away one of our props before we were able to use it!!!! But, these kids are absolutely adorable, and so much fun! I have known their mom for almost 20 years, so it was great finally getting to meet all of the kids, and seeing their personalities shine through in the photos! Our Anniversary!!!

It is really hard to believe that a year has already gone by but on April 17th, Brian and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary! It still seems like just the other day to me, and I have such great memories from the planning, celebrating, and definitely from our wedding day! Here are a few pics from our anniversary weekend- we had dinner at Sambuca Saturday night, and then took a drive to Galveston on Sunday. We ended the weekend with the top layer of our wedding cake, which tasted just as good as it did a year ago! :)

Carleigh turns 3!!

You may remember Carleigh and her family from the precious family session I did for them several months back.  Well, I was more than excited when they asked me to take pictures at Carleigh's birthday party this past weekend! She had such a blast with all her friends and family, and I was so glad to be able to capture it all! We knew it was a successful party, when all she could say at the end of it was, "I'm tired!" :)Thank you so much for letting me be part of your day. Happy birthday Carleigh! Enjoy!

A Day in the Bluebonnets- Old Baylor Park

This past weekend I did five sessions at Old Baylor Park with 5 wonderful families!! Though it was a bit further of a drive than I realized and there weren't as many bluebonnets out as we hoped, it turned out to be a great day! The weather was perfect, and it took a lot of work, but we got some great smiles!! Here is a sneak peek of all the sessions- I am putting them all in one blog, and there were a lot of favorites!!!
