This beautiful couple was married at the gorgeous Garten Verein in Galveston back in September. It was warm, but the sunlight during their ceremony was just beautiful. It was a perfect day- minus the Aggies losing to Alabama that day.
Favorites:
-Renee got ready at a historic home in Galveston that was just beautiful!
-Both the girls and the guys had the Aggie game on during pre-ceremony.
-Regarding number 2, the bride was getting dressed, I happen to glance over at TV and see that A&M is scoring a touchdown and start screaming. Oops. Luckily, Renee is an Aggie and understood. :)
-Renee wanted to wear her A&M tank top while getting ready, so she wrote BRIDE on it with a Sharpie. Win, win if you ask me.
-Ok, last Aggie favorite. On the timeline Renee wrote, someone inform the bride of the score of the game with an exact time. Awesome.
-The person who made their wedding cake also made Renee's parents wedding cake.
-During the dollar dance, instead of having someone to collect the money, the money was pinned to the bride and groom's clothing.
-The toasts. There were a lot of them that ranged from story telling, a groomsmen pulling out his checkbook to pay back a long lost debt to the groom, and the brother of the bride dancing on a broom. Can't top that really.
-And last but not least, one of the guests at the wedding is someone I have known since preschool!! Her sister and I were best friends. Small, small world.
